There’s an acquaintance on Facebook I keep muting for a month, and it’s amazing how hard they hit my timeline when that month is up. Took your kids for supper at Hooters, did you? *Mute for another month*

Sometimes people post stuff and call it obligatory but in reality it isn’t obligatory. You just wanted to post it.

Sometimes I feel guilty about the songs in my Spotify collection that I don’t delete, but often skip. Right now David Byrne is really getting skipped a lot. Sorry, David.

Once a week at my office they listen to Country music, and for me it almost rises to the level of torture. That awful twangy reimagining of Rebel, Rebel should be on trial at the Hague.

There is no section of the internet as blissfully and cruelly entitled as the comments below a comic convention announcement, of any kind.

I realize halloween is over but I just want to say "trunk ot treat" is stupid and a bad idea and this has nothing to do with the neighborhood teens locking me in my trunk.

At least this keeps happening to other people and not just me all the time.
I hate when you’re investigating a copycat murder and the original killer claims to have information which he’ll only reveal if you grant him some special privilege which he then uses to escape

Sometimes my kids practice piano and guitar at the same time in different rooms both audible from my bedroom, and to me it sounds like jazz. But the kind of jazz they played on that show Homeland, in that it sounds irritating and dissonant.

I love those little free libraries almost as much as I love those little boxes in front of people’s houses where you can take free mail.

I’m still coming to grips with how weird Bugsy Malone was when I was a kid. It doesn’t help that I watched it about fifty times on Superchannel.

I know I talk a lot about bad commercials, but that Haribo hockey ad is one of my least faves. Kid snippets ruined everything.

I have letter to the editor this week in our local paper.
Our community is, once again, facing a developer who wants to turn public, protected coastal land into a golf course. We've been here before. This time, it's shadier. And God knows it was shady last time. www.invernessoran.ca/top-story/co...
