I've made no secret about Lydia and Phoebe being inspired by the Grave Robber. I've not been especially secretive about B5 being in the mix, too.

To wit, there's a whole 20k word GR/Hellion fic that insisted on punching its way out of my face that just never got posted and I've been mining that sucker for scene ideas ever since
I've come to accept over the years that part of my process is fandom-based. If a character from a series inspires me, I'm better off just writing down my ideas for them and salvaging what I can in a way that isn't just the current copy-paste formula of filing off serial numbers.

I just learned that John Carmack misgendered and deadnamed Rebecca Heineman in his "tribute" over on Twitter. He probably thinks it's okay when talking pre-transition days, but FYI, most trans people hate that. Worse, he never calls her "she," switching to "they" for recent memories. Fuck that guy.
