I've made no secret about Lydia and Phoebe being inspired by the Grave Robber. I've not been especially secretive about B5 being in the mix, too.
Mostly, I've hooked that inspo to Phoebe, but Lydia owes her name and some story elements to it as well.

The hard and fast rules are: can only comfortably shift forms once a week, and MUST shift at least once a month or their body will do it for them.
They also can't just immediately shift back, they've got at least a couple hours of being 'stuck' once they change.

ANYWAY I decided to concept out some stuff myself. Based on movements and what I COULD see, I started out w/ something that looked a bit like Datatsushi ala Forbidden Siren.

So one of the problems with concepting this was very specifically the Vorlon part of the equation bc in case you couldn't tell uhhh
visual legibility on these guys was not great.
One kind unnamed soul offered their interpretation but I couldn't find concept art. So I just kind of had to wing it.
