I remember when online games took away chat and added emotes. This was so people couldn't say awful things to each other. Except people got just as hurt and offended with the emotes. I really struggle not to openly laugh at an adult offended at a cartoon goblin laughing at you for 2 seconds. Grow up

RIP to the legend. She won the first national video game tournament in 1980 for Space Invaders. She was a prolific programmer, educator, former board member of GLAAD, and there will never be another.
