Broke a small diameter poorly tempred screw inside a hole in an expensive piece of machinery. Then broke a screw extractor inside the said screw while trying to extract it.
Eventually managed to fix it without loosing my sanity, but just.

When I volunteered at the Austin Nature & Science Center 300 years ago, this was phrased to me as "their heads are full of optic nerves & murder. There's no room for anything else."

Three evenings ago I read an article about using ice packs on the forehead to help beat insomnia. The original study was from 2011 IIRC. Apparently if you drop the temperature of your frontal lobe by a degree or so you trigger a cascade of sleepy time metabolic events.
