Watching the #BBUK Late and Live because I saw lots of people commenting on how good it was

Yikes, not sure my opinion of the terrible trio of Sam, Nancy and Caroline could sink much further but it has

The Labour right are pathetic. This Government is pathetic. Immoral, authoritarian, right wing bullshit.

For some reason it feels like it should be 10pm right now and it just...isn't...like what do you mean it's only 6pm

Glad Corbyn went out of his way to support an open transphobe and embed him in the party more than any other MP, very smart choice.

We Asked This MP If He Really Wanted to Be in Your Party. Then He Quit | Novara Media
Exclusive: Adnan Hussain MP has resigned from the Your Party steering committee following a request for comment from Novara Media.

Just fyi, the transphobia problem in the party hasn’t disappeared with his departure, some of the other MPs are transphobic and also there’s been plenty of defections from e.g. Scottish transphobes
Blimey. Major new split in Your Party. Blackburn MP Adnan Hussain -who is secretary of the Your Party company - says he's quitting due to "persistent infighting, factional competition, and a struggle for power, position and influence rather than a shared commitment to the common good."

Yes, all of us cis men are really lining up right now to condemn how unfair it is that trans women get access to services for women and we don't

Like is the EHRC batshit insane? Why the fuck would I want to go into any female toilet? Which cis men are actually making that pathetic argument?
27/ Tom Cross then criticised “the so-called trans-inclusive services.” He says that all such services would amount to direct discrimination against cis people of one sex. For example, trans-inclusive female toilets would be directly discriminatory towards cis men.

I wouldn’t be surprised if retrospective accounts actually have Starmer as the worst, most incompetent PM that the country has had for a while

Don’t get me wrong, the Tories did tons of harm, way more, but a lot of them actually had beliefs and did (bad) stuff. Starmer seems like a void

This Government is genuinely so incompetent it's hilarious. Well, it would be if weren't governed by these imbeciles who will let Reform sweep the next elections.

They spent weeks briefing this, and now they've suddenly gone against. What are they even in power for?

The great thing about delaying hard decisions is that you never have to make them and it all turns out fine in the end (Ed - pls check).

What you have to understand is that Labour had to make the tax pledge so they would win a majority of 500 instead of 80, which was essential so they could…????

Sadly even on the Green subreddit I'm seeing "but we have to work with really bigoted people or we'll get nothing done" like...no, no we don't actually, not to that degree, no
November 12, 2025 at 2:52 PM
Like is it THAT hard to say "no actually I don't want a photo smiling with one of the worst transphobes who have contributed to making life a living hell for trans people"
November 12, 2025 at 2:31 PM
Sian Berry unfortunately reflects what I think a lot of supposed trans allies actually do and think, which is that you can talk a good game, but when it actually comes down to it, you're happy to look past transphobia and smile with transphobes if they support you on other stuff. It's vile

Very disappointed in Sian, you do not need to be smiling happily next to one of the worst transphobic bullies in Parliament

I have to say, I'm enjoying that we get yet another PM collapsing and the swirling of tons of briefings around them, Labour thought that the Tories did too much of that so now they should get a go!

If there's one good thing about the Tories (and there aren't many), I feel like they would have already removed Starmer and saved us the months of boring briefings back and forth that "he's definitely going to stay leader forever" and other Labour MPs suddenly find a conscience (they want to be PM)
