Even for as much as I enjoyed Expedition 33, obviously it's a bummer that AI was used in any placeholder sort of way. This was the correct decision.
So there's a lot of bleak and upsetting stuff going on in the world right now. Things are rough. I don't blame anyone for avoiding it for their own sanity.

Victory over RE7 (or at least the main story) was achieved!
Overall I very much enjoyed it. Some rough edges, and honestly the 'choice' at the last act felt more than a bit perfunctory, but it was a good time.
Also had some fun times doing RE4R Mercs. Even if I didn't play my best.

The way companies are using generative AI to create "placeholders" and "concept art" isn't actually an improvement in the process of those things - it's a symptom of the pathology where executives expect things the audience will never see to be polished for some stupid reason

Was able to liquidate a retirement account to get through the worst of the last of this year. Ugh, this sucks ass, Capcom ruining an awesome thing with this Robot Master Design Contest by requiring Twitter, but being able to DQ ENTRIES IF THEY ARE POSTED ANYWHERE ELSE. So stupid, I have LOVED seeing these designs come in so far.
