"You have to be at least open to the possibility here Scully, we know someone or some thing is sending out a signal."

"That may be so Mulder, but that doesn't mean it's the Scatman."

"Then who is calling out from Scatland, Scully? Who's calling out from Scatman's World?"

Your employees probably didn't scoop bits of shampoo out of unrelated creators' bottles to fill their own though.

(and then keep emptying it out and redoing that until they actually liked the smell of it)

"Why stop at AI use? We could have mandatory disclosures for what shampoo brand the developer uses" — Epic boss Tim Sweeney says Steam should ditch its AI generated content disclosure. https://bit.ly/4a193vt

Great product naming by Wacom when "Wacom One" and "One by Wacom" are not the same tablet design lines

Every time I hear X-Files I think about the episodes Pusher, X-COPS, Drive and Monday, and I wanna rewatch the show

The X-Files is genuinely a timelessly good show, because when not focusing on overarching conspiracy plot, they would really just focus on a single concept and quite crucially, it would cast an incredible actor to center the episode around who would be utterly god damn captivating to watch.

Big part the phenomenon of lacking sense of committal, often associated with things like only getting a few games as a kid, or in as adult, only able to afford some. You give a thing a fair try if you onlyu get less, or there is a bigger story or motivation to staying.

i love weird devices and goofy gaming tech but i think 99% of the usecase of the 3rd party emulation handheld is the dude who sat next to me on the subway, scrolled his terabyte of games for 10 stops, watched the intro to Power Stone for the Sega Dreamcast, and then got off the train

The youtube channel seems to be doing alright, but I am surprised the views on Be Kind Rewind isn't even higher. Fun stuff.

Watching chapter 2 of the new Defunctland and can't stop thinking "We love the movie Robocop with the 'don't make ED-209' scene in it, so we tried to make ED-209"

Future financial plannings are made much cooler by the fact I've need like a total of nine vet visits (we have a lot of animals, two visits showing issues that needed two follow-ups due to age and breed), and now I am sitting with a tooth that won't let me chew at all on one side of my mouth 💸

If there's a final villain in the real world, it is dark matter. The universe is founded on attraction (and balance), yet the universe grows.

I will save all my Full Elixirs for when I meet this matter.

You had a good day coding when you feel it's necessary to put this in the code for next time I do effects that change these values, because my brain keeps flipping

Started using Sticky Notes in Windows 10, it's neat instead of little TXTs on desktop to remind me.

But I am learning they have just stricken features from it for "no reason", but then there's OneNote, a newer app, that wants logins and ssync and creates all kinds of crap to clog the notes, yay

My family so quickly went to "well it's here now so there's nothing we can do" when I mention AI. Someone out there is scripting people to say that line, the exact same way

you just can't have a meaningful conversation about the potential benefits of "AI" while this stuff is happening. it's like trying to talk about how useful an airplane might be during a hijacking

So they say they gave the developer feedback, it was (allegedly) implemented, and they said they would not reconsider it? Why even bother giving them feedback then?

As an obsessive about deleting some emails, I honestly realize I prefer losing Gmail's tags due to disagreeing to AI, I can just delete stuff quicker.

I think Bloodborne is the only Fromsoft game where walk cycles look natural, because otherwise every enemy walks like they're underwater or their animators were never told they animated them too fast.

I'm sure it's the team's idea of an ethereal feel, but it always catches my eye (as an animator)

When you first learn to code, in either a language or an app that allows a lot of control, I think a big and early hurdle often ends up as little things code deosn't do for you, because someone out there might want to control it for something.
