I'm playing Shiren 4 for the first time because we all know that's where my other posts were going and just hours in, it's taught me the most consequential lore I've ever encountered in these games: Texas exists in the wider Shiren universe.
Gonna have to sit and think on that one for a while.

They should already do exactly what you're saying between the three Links, they all have wildly different items and abilities in their games. But they're minimally different.
