im split on horizon's real-time combat so far. ZOC and awakening are rly cool and make grinding faster but i feel like they give me so many options that i barely enter command battles outside of boss encounters. at least sky 1st hit a really nice balance between real-time and turn-based imo

i missed brave orders so much im glad they brought them back... having them use boost gauge makes boost an even more interesting resource and gives agnes (and now elaine) i really fun niche

one of my goals this year is to use my switch 2 to curb my social media usage. not saying i'll completely unplug but i feel like replacing a portion of Phone Time with Handheld Time would be a lot more personally fulfilling than doomscrolling as the default way to pass the time

really happy with the pace that horizon gives you the mechanics you'll be working with the rest of the game, the fact that van starts out with both of his s-crafts is such a treat
