tbh i think at the end of the day, people, especially su fans, need to remember all these characters exist to push a story along. its not about if theyre "good" or "bad" but how they further the story along in an interesting way. they just feel so human because they're well written lolol

and what makes it all the more tragic for steven is that rose was always going to get her karma eventually. it would all inevitably come back to bite her in the ass, but because she no longer exists and instead steven is there to carry on her legacy, who else has to take the blame?? juicy writing

for sure!! and its so unfortunate steven did have to clean up her mess because tbh i dont think thats what she intended??? greg said it before, rose simply wanted steven to exist as himself, as we see in the episode with "nora". he was simply just meant to be her son. but as fate would have it lol
