Buddy, you have spoken loud and clear: You do not like being punched in the face. But what if you being punched in the face is the way to restart the world's idea machine? You ever consider that, pal?

We’re running out of good ideas. AI might be how we find new ones.

Y'know, a vast majority of the questions depicted here could already be quickly answered by a web search. The only one that can't is the one no one would ever ask.

The only "new technology" being shown here is "keeping people on one website so they don't click competitors' sites."
Disney has launched an AI tool for employees called DisneyGPT

• It's designed to help 'unlock the magic of your imagination'

• Includes verified Walt Disney quotes and lets employees make internal requests

• They're now developing a more advanced AI tool called J.A.R.V.I.S

This is the worst grab line I have ever read. It's a nonsequitor that admits we all hate a product and then describes "the world idea machine," which is one suffix away from sounding like a Dr. Doofenshmitz invention.

the “you should love ai” line is best outlined by a recent joe rogan episode. he LOVES ai music and always tells guests this. a guest pushed back on him saying “i’ve heard ai podcasts are amazing too” and joe rogan immediately pushes back. losers love it until it comes for them

Rob Reiner: I'm going to make a coming of age drama, a fantasy adventure story, a romantic comedy, a psychological horror and then a courtroom drama.

Us: Across your entire career?

Reiner: In a 6 year period.

Us: That sounds-

Reiner: -Each one will be arguably the best movie in that genre.

Taking a break from the sickening tragedy to focus on the beauty for a moment. Rob Reiner achieved something so rare and coveted that artists and entertainers dream of and rarely achieve: cultural permanence. How many times have you made a reference to something going to 11? Shouted "Inconceivable"?

Remember, Mr. Rogers' original comment was intended for CHILDREN. Children need comfort, and their power is obviously very limited.

We're adults. We do need comfort, but we also need to take action. And what you'll find is the more you do, the better you'll feel. Look for the helpers and join them.
An important addendum to "look for the helpers" is "and then join them."

No livestream today, we're chugging on a script. BUT right now you can watch the classic Charlie Brown Christmas on AppleTV for free, which I recommend! Don't hit "free trial," instead click the unlabeled play button & decline the free trial AGAIN and you're good to go. tv.apple.com/us/movie/a-c...

Charlie Kirk said that this was something we all have to live with. And then his throat exploded at a University
"Weissman was in her dorm room at Brown when a friend called to warn her that a shooting was under way. Her initial feelings of panic soon turned to anger, she told NBC. “I’m angry that I thought I’d never have to deal with this again, and here I am eight years later,” Weissman told NBC News."
Two survivors of Brown University attack escaped other school shootings
Mia Tretta was shot in the abdomen in 2019 at a school near LA and Zoe Weissman witnessed a Florida shooting in 2018

I’ve gotten a few replies like this today and I just want to point out
1. None of them have come from Palestinians
2. Violent antisemitism predates the existence of a Zionist movement, which began in Europe in an colonialist environment
3. These comments themselves conflate Judaism with Zionism
Tragically, Israel has done its best to ruin these Jewish symbols for everyone and brought danger to all Jews by constantly conflating the IDF’s barbarism with the Jewish people. That is unforgivable.

Again I feel bad for constantly sharing commissions and just other ways to send money but having less than $100 in your bank account really just makes your mind going into panic mode.

I just never want to ask for donations, I'd rather make sure people that support me get something back in return.
