As a veteran, I say this:
All active duty troops involved in the illegal attack on Venezuela, and illegal abduction of the democratically elected President of that country, are by definition war criminals.
Commanders should have disobeyed illegal orders.
Troops should do so going forward.

i don't think this is even a real statistical anomaly anymore. it seems like there's someone in the crowd at every mass shooting who has been through it before. this doesn't have to be our shared cultural experience.

@brandyzadrozny.bsky.social’s point is a good one. You’d kind of think, or maybe you’d just kind of wish or hope, there’d be a hero who would just say something. His behavior is disgusting and unacceptable. We need to stop accepting it.
