LibDem run Kingston have worked hard to build new homes in the area. But residents are being let down by the lack of leasehold reform.

No one was considering to vote Labour here but there’s lots of support for the hardworking #LibDem councillors. #VoteLibDem this May.

He has put British businesses and jobs on the frontline in his unprovoked war.

It is not so much what is said in this post that is the problem it is much more what is not said. Be cautious of people offering simple solutions to complex problems. Our defence alliances are arguable much more important this morning than they were yesterday. What is the alternative plan?

In fact, no one has taken much notice of the Greens' defence policies, which is probably lucky for them.
When we said NATO wasn't working we were derided.

When we said a nuclear weapons system relying on the US is dangerous we were called stupid.

The truth is the establishment are more interested in kissing US feet than keeping the UK safe.

It's time for a rethink.

This week, I met with Local Government Minister Alison McGovern to lobby for a fairer funding settlement for Somerset.

Although Somerset Council may have no other choice, an 11% increase in council tax for residents is simply not fair or affordable for many.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of a civil rights leader and former constituent, Claudette Colvin.

At just 15, she refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus, serving as a catalyst for the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the end of segregation.

Rest in power, Claudette🕊️
