This week MPs debated the UK Government’s Animal Welfare Strategy. Ahead of the debate we sent a briefing to all MPs calling on them to champion measures to improve the lives of farm animals.

Now we need to see the Government issue clear timelines to turn its commitments into action.

Water companies are rightly being held to account, but to truly tackle water pollution, big ag must be made to clean up its act too.

Farmfoods dropped its commitment to stop selling caged eggs.

Alongside The Humane League UK, RSPCA & Open Cages, we've sent a letter to Farmfoods calling for their cage-free pledge to be reinstated.

The future will be cage-free. Farmfoods must stop lagging behind.

The state has already banned octopus farming, and now a Bill to stop the sale of farmed octopus is advancing to the House Rules Committee.🤞

Preventative bans like these are so important for deterring plans to start farming octopus.

1) We organised the first International Awareness Day to #BanLiveExports.

In the UK, we protested outside Parliament. After years of continued pressure, exports were banned from Britain in 2024!
