I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

Think for a moment about how many things we now consider hobbies are connected to older forms of production people once needed just to live: gardening, fabric arts, woodworking, music and written creation. The list is massive.

There’s a reason we hold onto these things. It’s part of our humanity.

Well, we did it. We cooked all the things. We ate all the things. We had all the people over. We talked about all the things. We did all the dishes. It’s done.

Funny thing. My Mom always opted out of Thanksgiving. She preferred to spend the day alone. So I don’t really associate her with the day. And yet, today I find myself thinking of her more than usual. 🤷‍♂️

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.
