Trump rule is to deny everything, accuse everyone of the terrible things you are doing, and if you are doing something horrific no one has brought up yet, announce how brilliant you are at not doing that horrible thing.

In a real apocalyptic situation, I guarantee a dozen people any of these fantasy preppers trust has already quietly come up with a plan to murder them and take whatever "foolproof" bunker or escape they've come up with. Their lack of awareness about other human beings will always be their downfall.

imagine if trump has just had a passive presidency, took the win and just stayed the course, instead every single one of these politicians just says terrible things all the time it's wild

one of my main problems with politics is the insistence upon labels. saying "i'm a socialist" or "i'm a capitalist" or "i'm a communist" - I don't give a shit, what are you doing, talk about what you are doing, what are you policies, what are you actually changing

we can talk about the role of storytelling and how every brand wants to build a studio and hire creators but most people are actually really bad at storytelling. the more you continue to box in storytelling, the more you templatize is, the more you water it down.

the thing that's sorta shocking to me is how just because the president says something is how many people just show their ass and listen to him like it's some sort of cultural shift because one leader says something. ruling by fear is so old school bro

Something shifted in the culture in the last few days where we are both waiting for the next shitty thing to drop while celebrating how great we are as people and how much we are not controlled by our rulers distinctly america

been thinking today about how america, but especially congress, and especially the senate, has gotten entirely too used to being able to blow off just about anybody they feel like and in a crisis moment cannot even remember how to pretend to give a shit properly anymore

ICE killed a Black man, Keith Porter, 7 days before Renee Good, and I hadn't heard about it until today. His vigils went unnoticed. His life came and gone and America forgot to blink.

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.
I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
