In the aftermath of the murder of an American woman in Minneapolis, DHS is doubling down by apparently declaring open season. They believe that they can shoot anyone, at any time, or for no reason at all.

For the people in the back, this is satire and so well done…

What to do? ⬇️

1) refuse to act like we haven't seen this before,
2) call ALL our reps, demand they move to impeach immediately,
3) call Dem reps, demand they replace Schumer and Jeffries,
4) hit the streets,
5) and find an org to plug into for the mid- and long-term organizing that's required.

In 1970, we could and should have electrified Caltrain, built office towers around all of its stations, and thus given workers ample transportation choices. We blew it!

"Leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about being an actual leader." I needed to hear this today, thank you!
As usual, it’s clear to me tonight that, no matter what’s said officially, @aoc.bsky.social is the real leader of the Democratic party and movement in the United States.

Leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about being an actual leader.
AOC: I have to tell you, in my traveling across the country, I am hearing and have been seeing consistent things from everyday people. And it is that they are terrified, they are frustrated, they are angry, and they are shocked by a president violating the values that we hold dear

We work to live, I have to remind myself of this regularly.
We Gen X know this is absolute bullshit. It's ok to never have a career. You can just do things you're interested in for as long as you are interested in them, and then do something else. Your job doesn't define you, and if it does, you're very likely doing life wrong.
