Husband, dad, nature lover, advocate. Uncomfortable truths.
Not interested, @durbin.senate.gov

You sold out the working families of this country.

Your political legacy is gone.

The only thing left to do is resign your leadership post.

It’s important to achieve bipartisanship with Republicans so they can arrest Barack Obama for something they read on the Epoch Times’ Facebook page written by a Chinese cult member in 2019.
Breaking MSNBC:

The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida called a division-wide meeting this afternoon, following the resignations of two prosecutors who were asked to take part in a vast "conspiracy" investigation into former intel and law enforcement officials.

Chiuck Schumer:
attempted a strategic play, which failed miserably

OR

couldn’t unify democratic senators for one of the most consequential votes of our time.

Either scenario warrants Chuck Schumer’s replacement as Senate minority leader.

What makes you think that Johnson MUST swear her in?
The silver lining to the surrender by 8 Dems is that the House GOP must return to vote on it. Johnson must swear in Grijalva, and the discharge petition on the Epstein files must force a full floor vote. Stay tuned.

Me: Revoke the president’s health coverage, give him a lump sum instead, tell him
to go get a better deal on the open market.

@schumer.senate.gov : That would require balls, and I do not have any.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Christ man, people did not elect you so that you could get sleep, or not worry, @kaine.senate.gov .

How about you tell that furloughed worker “I am sorry the GOP is using you as a pawn.”
Sen. Kaine on his vote for funding deal

“I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct. 1, because I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed federal worker would say to me at church”

We do not need a plan to get rid of Schumer.

Its the same as the plan to bring @jimmykimmel.com back.

There was no big meeting where we all decided the plan was to cancel Disney+, we just did it.

I am urging folks to boycott @actblue until Schumer steps down as leader.

We do not have to lose a step of momentum.

We have 20 Republicans to beat in 2026.

We have 13 Democratic seats up, and we should fill them with candidates that do not faint at the sight of blood.
Momentum is a real thing.

Democrats finally had some, after massive turnouts for #NoKings and resounding wins in both red and blue states last week.

The majority of the country, rightfully so, held Trump and the GOP accountable for the government shutdown.

Every Democratic donor should boycott @actblueorg.bsky.social until ActBlue agrees to remove The Gang of Eight from its services.
80% of Democratic voters want a new leader in the Senate.

Does that matter at all to Democratic senators?

Last words broadcast from the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald at 7:10 p.m.:

“We are holding our own.”

Then she sank.

As we all reflect on the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald, let’s also reflect on Gordon Lightfoot’s greatest masterpiece, “Sundown”

Can someone please tell me what the hell is up with Nevada?
Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada
Dick Durbin of Illinois
John Fetterman of Pennsylvania
Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire
Tim Kaine of Virginia
Angus King of Maine
Jacky Rosen of Nevada
Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire

Guess what 8 Democrats are NOT up for re-election in the 2026 midterms.

I'm sorry people's flights were delayed and I'm sorry SNAP was unfunded or partially funded for November and I'm sorry people missed pay for 40 days. I am about to watch 500 adults with the functional and cognitive abilities of infants be thrown into fucking institutions or homeless shelters or DIE.

Good thread which explains why Senators in their DC bubble do not understand they hellscape they have endorsed.

I work for a Medicaid-funded residential nonprofit. All our clients have developmental and intellectual disabilities. We planned enough that we were able to afford food for all 500 patients even with the SNAP cuts (they rely 100% on SNAP). We figured out how to feed them. You know what we cannot

Honestly unsure which is worse, @schumer.senate.gov cut a deal with the GOP

1) Because he is so stupid he thinks the ACA vote is a win

2) He is so stupid he thinks that Democrats were losing

3) He took a payoff from the Airline Industry.

Right now I think copping to bribery is best defense.

This is known as the “Let’s Move Foward” nonapology in my book, @whitehouse.senate.gov @sorrywatch.bsky.social .

You wanna know why we cannot just move on?

Because Schumer is not sorry, Durbin is not sorry, and people know we’re getting a BS excuse.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.
November 10, 2025 at 11:38 PM
How are they in a “terrible position” @whitehouse.senate.gov @durbin.senate.gov @fetterman.senate.gov ?

Walk me through it.

20 GOP Senate seats are up in 2026.

Only two - TWO - are in swing states.

But all 20 could vote for the subsidies and it would not matter.
Do I trust them? No. That’s why I voted no. But they are in a terrible position, and we can use the next few weeks to turn the pressure up even further.
November 10, 2025 at 11:21 PM
“unlikely” is doing a lot of work there, Robert.

I mean, I feel like I should file a complaint with the Dept of Labor, OSHA, for these work conditions.

There’s gonna be no vote on that, Friend.
Even if the Senate voted to extend ACA subsidies, the GOP-controlled House is unlikely to allow a vote on them.

And there's of course no guarantee that Trump would even go along with a deal.

The cruel irony is that this will end up hurting Republican states the most.

Great job, @durbin.senate.gov .

You voted to legalize bribery.
This allows Trump (via DOJ) to use taxpayer money to bribe eight GOP Senators. It's that simple, there's no other way to describe it.

And where's the compensation for people injured by the Trump admin's unlawful conduct through DHS & DOGE?

Take a bow, @schumer.senate.gov, you did this.
