It's very easy to complain about the price of sporting events, concerts etc these days but have to say im pleasantly surprised at cost of tickets for the URC final next weekend. €70 for 2 adults and 1 child incl fees. Bit of a bargain thanks to 10% discount on the URC site. #Leinster #URC #Ireland

Just joined an newly formed over 35s soccer team, and in the group chat - manager asked what positions we play.
Someone actually said "False 9", and I don't think they were joking 🤣🤣🤣

Either a huge troll or...?

Might have to consider saying I'll be the "Regista".

David's right - the Inquirer is the best newspaper in Dublin if you're interested in news about Dublin!
AN INCREDIBLE GIFT FOR ANY DUBLINERS WHO GIVE A SHIT
Maybe on your Christmas list you have someone new to the city. Or maybe, an old-timer eager to reconnect and understand a changing Dublin. If you know anyone you think would like to read us we'd love it if you'd consider giving them a Dublin Inquirer subscription.

🧵This is the story of THE WORST GIG I've EVER done.

NYE 2018. I posted on Facebook about what a fab year I’d had, donned my best lashes and set off for my last gig of the year: singing pop to 80 people at a pub in Essex. Easy, easiest of gigs and paying sweeeet dollar.

At a moment of dangerously splintering reality, the billionaire manchild has engineered his most revolutionary invention yet: the perfect mechanism to turn money into lies and lies into money.

One month ago today, set off on the last trip to the US for at least 4 years (with a bit of 🇨🇦 sprinkled in!). 3 weeks away from work, with nothing to do but enjoy!

Now where to travel in 2025? Any suggestions welcome...

Secure your accounts!
Important #PSA, BlueSky newcomers!

Protect your account… don’t lose what you’ve built here.

Go to your settings & turn on 2FA (turning this on will mean that when you need to sign in, in future - you’ll need a code!)

Go to Settings -> scroll down to Two Factor Authentication.

1/IMPORTANT thread about Bluesky funding and origins. Many folks know that it was seeded by Jack Dorsey around a libertarian vision of a magical network that wouldn’t need moderation because it would be decentralized and baked into a protocol (somehow).
