When I was a kid and my dad dropped me off to see the A New Hope rerelease and I got to see it on the big screen for the first time. Everyone stood up and cheered when the death star blew up and it was awesome.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Extremely bad to start policing the subject matter of fictional material depicted or referenced on a communication network. This is always the case, but it's doubly unacceptable to police fiction based on an unknowable criteria like the mind of a fictional character. Arbitrary, leads to viciousness.
