The way Kang writes about the bleakest and heartbreaking situations in the most tender way, is a gift. Also, kudos to Deborah Smith for her translation of this book.

In 2026 I want all of the decent people to remember one thing.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but opposing GenAI is not about opposing technology, it's about opposing capitalists.

Watched Egger's Nosferatu last night and I'm always wary of two plus hour movies but it was well paced, beautiful sets and costumes and I did enjoy it but apparently not as much as Willem Dafoe who was definitely having a lot fun playing his character.
