79-year-old Paul Bojerski was born to Polish parents in a WWII German refugee camp. His family legally emigrated to the U.S. when he was 5.

It took me a couple of reads to process this. The *administration* wanted to use email addresses of furloughed employees to spread their own message.
JUST IN: A federal judge has barred the Trump administration from using furloughed employees’ email accounts to broadcast partisan messages about the shutdown.

New: Conde Nast fired four employees who were among a group that confronted the company's head of human resources on Wednesday over the decision to fold Teen Vogue into Vogue/recent cuts. Employees who were fired included journalists from the New Yorker, Wired, and Bon Appétit.

If I had to guess right now (and it is premature!) I'd say the Supreme Court is going to strike down Trump's tariffs.
All three liberals are clearly against the government. Barrett too. Roberts leaning that way. And we haven't even gotten to tax-hater Gorsuch yet.

Halve, oil, and roast one butternut squash at 375. (Save and roast seeds if you want.) Cool. Scoop out flesh. Saute garlic, leek or onion and lots of ginger in olive oil and butter. Add spices, s&p. Add squash. Just barely cover with stock. Cook 10 min, adjust seasoning. Immersion blend til smooth.
