Today’s annoyance is that the owners of the house we’re acquiring have moved the signing date for the third time, and I’d like to have my own dent in the universe again.
If the house wasn’t so damn perfect, I’d have already told them to insert it in their posteriors, with graphic detail.

Maitani was an absolute genius. There’s a good reason the OM-1 and XA are two of my all time favorite cameras. Small, solidly built and can be taken anywhere
One thing about the OM system from a historical perspective that's hard to really appreciate now is just what a radical feat of miniaturization they were. It of course lit a fire under everyone else and by the 80s many SLRs had shrank to match it. But, when it launched, it was notably smaller.
