If I had a nickel for every time I’ve played a game released in 2025 that directly references Rule of Rose, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

Ripped the bandaid off and started Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 tonight. And after the first few hours it’s genuinely… fine? More an immersive sim than an RPG, but the writing is solid so far even if the combat is sub par. Doesn’t come close to the original, but still fun for what it is.
