What part of “the site generates non consensual sexualised image of women and girls, and sexualised images of children” does our government feel determined to overlook?

🧵In my expert opinion as a researcher of vehicle ramming attacks, what has been publicly described in the video evidence does not support the claim that Renee Nicole Good was attempting a deliberate ramming attack when she was shot in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. 1/7

Masked government agents are killing people in the streets, abducting people from their homes in the middle of the night, and arresting those who speak out.

If this were happening in another country, what would you call it?

The owner of X relaxed rules regarding hate speech on the platform. He has reinstated actual Nazis. The majority of ads on the platform are scams or promote conspiracy theories. He has amplified disinformation about Ireland & the Irish people,

What are the "positive reasons" to remain on X?
My word.

The Taoiseach, in China, says "platforms can be misused and abused or they can be used for positive reasons as well..." and says that should be considered carefully "before jumping to conclusions" on whether it's appropriate for the Government to be on X.

There are real people, real women, real girls whose images have been edited by grok at the request of users.

This is not some fictionalised, nebulous harm.

That the 'adults in the room' and 'rules-based order' governments are humming and hawwing over taking a firm line on this is extraordinary

The thing people (and apparently the Taoiseach) somehow refuse to accept about Grok and X is that it isn’t a platform being misused or abused, it is a platform working exactly as intended by its owner. It is meant to be a racist, misogynistic, far right propaganda tool and it is
My word.

The US is collapsing as a functioning democracy. It has already lost its role as a global leader. Approaching pariah status. Beyond a rogue state.. and yet powerful vis a vis any one other state.

EU needs to collaborate with both like-minded partners and other states on a case by case basis.
