As I said earlier today, chants in support of a terrorist organization have no place in our city. We will continue to ensure New Yorkers’ safety entering and exiting houses of worship as well as the constitutional right to protest.

This new angle of the Minnesota shooting shows the need for additional investigation by someone other than Kristi Noem. That includes the state of Minnesota.
I have yet to see anything that provides justification for the use of deadly force in this situation.

The ironic thing about this is that his identity became known because Kristi Noem mentioned this officer had been hit and dragged by a car in June in Minnesota. Only 1 officer matched that description in court documents.

I was raised in a family of people who served in the military--Army, Navy, Marines; and in law enforcement--local police from street cop to chief, state troopers and highway patrol, federal prosecution. All served with honor, even though not all of them were angels.
