Prices are climbing again.

January usually brings small increases — but what we’re seeing now goes far beyond normal.

The Trump Administration’s economic approach isn’t delivering relief.

Americans deserve better. I’ll keep fighting to lower costs.

This can’t continue.
The Break Is Over. Companies Are Jacking Up Prices Again.
Higher tariffs, labor and health-insurance costs have pushed many businesses to raise prices for consumers.

The Gordie Howe International Bridge is a landmark infrastructure project expected to generate economic growth in both the United States and Canada.

Why, then, is Donald Trump threatening to halt its opening?

Ever wonder what it’s like to be a member of Congress?

Spoiler: it’s way more meetings than you'd think, way less drama than cable news, and a whole lot of trying to get things done for CA-49.

This is the part you never see on TV 👇

Four days before Trump’s inauguration, a UAE-linked entity quietly agreed to buy 49% of a Trump-family cryptocurrency company for $500 million.

If you’re thinking, “that sounds illegal,” you’re not alone. Constitutional scholars are warning it could be exactly what it looks like: a bribe.

Families are getting crushed by electric bills and health care costs.

And what is Trump doing? Personally inspecting marble and plumbing at the Kennedy Center—after slapping his name on the building tanked ticket sales by 36% and drove performers away.

This Presidents' Day, I'm thinking about what our Founding Fathers fought to create: a republic of laws, not men. A system where no one, not even the President, is above accountability.

I wonder what they'd make of where we are today.

Black history is American history.

From the fight for civil rights to innovations that shaped our economy, from the music that defines our culture to the movements that expanded our democracy, Black Americans have driven this country toward its highest ideals.

You know why the American people trust Democrats to bring down their energy costs?

Because Washington Republicans are doing everything possible to make sure they don’t go down.

They’ve had a year to fix it and they’ve only made the problem worse.
Democrats gain an edge as poll show doubts on Trump energy strategy

Congress has a responsibility to fund agencies that protect the American people.

But we also have a responsibility to ensure those agencies follow the law.

The Trump Administration just cost American consumers $19 BILLION in financial relief.

How? By gutting the CFPB, abandoning consumer protections, stalling investigations, and dismissing lawsuits against predatory lenders.

I'll keep saying it until something changes: no reforms + no accountability = no funding.

I'm a NO on any new ICE funding until it includes real guardrails on ICE operations.

Congress cannot keep writing blank checks for this agency until there are MAJOR reforms.

Trump's tariffs cost American families $1,000 last year.

This year? On track to cost ANOTHER $1,300.

Do the math: that's $2,300 taken straight out of family budgets to pay for Trump's trade war.

1. A passport, which more than half of Americans don’t have and costs at least $130
OR
2. A birth certificate PLUS your photo ID with matching names, which nearly 70 million married women lack
OR
3. Military services papers (not a military ID alone) with sensitive info.

I’m voting NO.

The health of the American people should never be a political game, but Trump is treating it like one.

His Administration just cut $600 MILLION in public health funding from four Democratic states, including $400 MILLION ripped straight from California’s state and local public health departments.

The White House sent over its “counterproposal” on ICE reform, and here’s the truth:

❌ It doesn’t include details or enforceable guardrails
❌ It doesn’t put a stop to the lawless conduct or the violence we’ve seen
❌ It isn’t actually a bill that can be passed into law
