I don't deny that dogs can sometimes be quite lovely but what I will say is I don't trust their opinions. If a cat recommended me an album it had bought, I'd totally check it out. If a dog did the same, I'd promise to listen to the album, out of politeness, with no intention of actually doing so

Some may remember my #countdown thread in the early days of Twitter. Thank gods that's now c15 years ago. But I was borderline suicidal having to wait just the five years, while being in a truly miserable situation. Had that been extended to 10 while I waited...I can't guarantee I'd still be here.
For those of you in the UK, especially if you are a UK citizen, can you please take part in the consultation on changes to Indefinite Leave to Remain (Settlement) that were just proposed by the UK government. We need as many people as possible to reject these proposals. www.gov.uk/government/c...
