This morning I was feeling all warm and fuzzy about "peak time" buses.

Nearly a real-life Hortense

Oh man, I allegedly once did the stood-up monologue thing, age 4ish, when people were round for dinner. I heard about it for the first 30 or so years of my life, but can't remember the topic now.

Just wait till your 40s and 50s, poppet.

🎬 I started my day with some quality time with the @filmhouseedinburgh.bsky.social newsletter and website. They'll be sick of the sight of me, come the new year.

I met this one today. A real corker.

My TV keeps wanting me to watch a programme called Celebrity Race Across The World. Are any of these people famous? I don't recognise a single face.

I finally saw these today :-)

Genuinely, I want to know who pays £20 for a cinema ticket. This is otherworldly to me.

#Caturday: Copper missing a perfect opportunity to watch a squirrel.

Me too! I'm in the film (and also made him angry a year or so ago when he asked for opinions about the title).

There's a UK Home Office consultation link doing the rounds; had Bluesky not just frozen and refreshed yet again, I would have RTd it. But I need to point out that I had to read this question about 10 times to understand how to answer. Very 'I ain't not got to not do it'.

A good shot of Copper the Cat where you can see how he got his name.

I'm still having problems with this (Android) app dozens of times a day. Is it really just me? I HATE IT. (Yes, I've updated the app.)
Good morning.

One of the best bits about that house was the big window, which I see was replaced only 17/18 years ago. And now it appears to be covered with a tree. A great pity.

I spent most of my time as a child at the house of my grandparents, and am charmed to see there's currently a children's climbing thing in the front. In that front garden (where there was previously no path), my grandfather built me huge metal 'monkey bars', which fell over onto me more than once.

I forgot to be an unkind grump, and give my growl of a review on a "new" trailer for SUNSET BOULEVARD I wish I hadn't seen at the cinema. So painful and unnecessary.

🎬 My #LastFourWatched from random strangers' most recent @letterboxd.social's #LetterboxdFriday. (Coincidentally, two Bennett sisters in one day.)

Earlier today, I spotted this seriously grim summary intro of an Iain Banks book. It's 10 or so years old, but there are people who still talk this way and it's reprehensible.
