The EU are removing their de minimis threshold next year. So that will be the EU added to the growing list of places that I can’t sell to.
As a small business it’s getting harder and harder to keep going.
Fuck brexit and all who sail in her. 🤬

Two things stand out about this picture:

1. a political leader embracing rather than demonising asylum seekers;

2. the beautiful clothes the Afghan girls are wearing, and which they are free to show in public.
It’s not where we come from that counts, it’s about where we’re going.

Great to meet Afghan Scots children at Maryhill Burgh Halls and hear a lovely rendition of Robert Burns.

For anyone in or around Birmingham - or if you book for festivals beyond - this is who made my fabulous food. It was father and son on duty. Lovely people, too. Check 'em out!

Just had Jamaican fritters, dumplings and fried plantain that I brought back from the vegan festival. Even though it was in a cardboard bowl and needed to be microwaved, it's one of the best meals I've ever had.

19 years ago, my kind friend and colleague Laila was murdered in her London home by a teenager who'd been let out of prison early. Thinking of her and her family today.

The mattress was flipped! The toddler then jumped on the bed and hit her head hard on the headboard. Good times 🥰
What I'm most looking forward to today is that my two friends and their toddler are calling round to meet my cat. But the really exciting bit is that I'm going to try to convince them to help me flip my very heavy mattress. Steady. On.

The wind/rain combo is fierce, and has had me awake for an hour already. A perfect morning for staying in warm and cosy...unfortunately, that's not what I'll be doing.
Good morning.

A week ago I posted about how happy I was to discover an attachment I had to make my hoover handheld for CAT LITTER OVERLOAD. I misplaced that piece approximately one minute later and still can't find it. (Any ideas?)
Good morning.

7+ years ago I took my nervous nelly of a hostelmate for a pint in Amsterdam; she had a night on her own before her husband arrived. I ate a tiny morsel of her weed brownie, which gave me hours of heartburn.
I'd forgotten all about this, until she sent a FB friend request a few minutes ago (!). Wild
