"But what about China?" has been a throwaway comment made many times to justify inaction on climate change or criticise decarbonisation policies.

Well China is now by far the world's largest manufacturer, installer, and user of clean energy technologies.

The public made noise for Liam Ramos and it got him released from Dilley.

Now we must make noise for 7 year old Diana Crespo.

Her parents were taking her for emergency medical care when ICE grabbed them, and she’s rotting in the camp sick and exposed to measles.

Get them out!

🚨🚨Republican strategists are now saying that losing the Senate is a real possibility.

Internal polling shows the GOP facing competitive Senate races not just in traditional battlegrounds (Michigan, Maine, North Carolina), but also in conservative states (Alaska, Iowa, Ohio).
GOP's new fear: Losing the Senate in November
A Democratic takeover of the Senate would be a political earthquake — and neuter Trump's last two years in office.

I don't understand, I wish I did...

We the People are speaking, yet our leadership is constantly acting like "our betters" and deny us WTF we want. They even go so far as to tell us what we want to hear, but NEVER deliver.

Fed up is an understatement, they have no right to do this shit to us.

Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.

It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

Okay, so...the doctor supports me getting a hysterectomy, BUT, they want to do an ultrasound first and a followup appointment because they want to see how we can get my insurance to cover it. A step in the right direction, but american healthcare™ is a complete nightmare to work with.

When you agree to pass 5 of 6 appropriations bills, then you later agree to pass funding for everything that is in the 6th bill except for one agency (ICE) that has already been prefunded in a previous bill, you are giving up every bit of leverage you have and selling out.

AOC: We are going to have to reckon, as a country, with this time. And I hope that that reckoning includes prosecution of people who are involved with the lawbreaking and human rights violations they are knowingly engaging in right now.

I have this friend who wrote off relationships with people he had for decades because he saw any criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza as antisemitism. Yet, he gleefully uses Grok & X, despite being owned by a noted antisemite who promotes literal Nazis.
