There's a one hour special on Nigel Farage and Reform UK, and whether they are ready to lead, on BBC2

Presumably, there will be a similar one hour special on Zack Polanski, and whether The Greens are ready to lead, as well?

BREAKING: PM under pressure to rewrite govt amendment to include oversight by intelligence & security committee of national security exemption for Mandelson vetting docs.

Senior MPs inc Meg Hillier & Angela Rayner among those suggesting it would be necessary to "keep public confidence" in process
🚨BREAKING: Angela Rayner has intervened to ask that the Intelligence & Security Committee has oversight of release of docs

This is very significant. It suggests govt amendment as tabled today not adequate/sufficient as it stands & thinks ISC oversight important for transparency/public confidence

Peter Mandelson should not be an unelected parliamentarian for life. And neither should any of the other 800+ peers eligible to sit in the House of Lords. It should be abolished & replaced with a (small) elected second chamber.

Another broken promise from Starmer.

Private Equity firms are ripping off Britain from foster care, special education schools, care homes, vets and medical practices just to name a few where excess profits are made at the expense of us all.
Private equity owns lion’s share of children’s foster services in England, ‘bleeding the sector of money’.

Profits margins of 19%. Money extracted in interest payments, intragroup charges. Children suffer.

Ban profit-taking entities from foster services.

Does Reform get any money from people who actually live in Britain and make their £ here? The largest donation Farage got was from a Brit who lives in Thailand making it on crypto. Why is democracy being sold to such foreign interests?
