It sure would be nice if the five folks hacking up their lungs here in the lobby were wearing masks. Makes me feel a bit better about wearing mine, at least.

The book that I mentioned on QAA by @alexwoodroe.com is Whisperwood. I can't recommend it enough. It's a solid piece of folk horror, a kind of Romanian Witcher. Alex even has a new book, The Night Ship, out next week. You can follow her here: alexwoodroe.com

Today is Remembrance Day for Lost Species. Here in the thick of the Holocene extinction, the list gets longer every year.
It's a scary time for our planet. I wrote the #EndlingBooks trilogy because I wanted to talk about that honestly with kids. But I also wanted to offer a measure of hope. 💙🐾

Today is Remembrance Day for Lost Species. Here in the thick of the Holocene extinction, the list gets longer every year.
