I think there is some information in there that isn't familiar to a lot of people. Including that the US is currently holding three times as many people in immigration detention as were detained in the entire Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939—six years into the Third Reich.

AI may or may not excel at a lot of things, but from an economic standpoint, it's definitely not making us more productive.

It's not remotely silly.
It might sound silly, but I mean it: The easiest and most potent way for Europe to hurt Trump this year is to once again use its cultural soft power and to threaten a boycott of the World Cup. It would become a completely meaningless event and would hurt him where he is most vulnerable - his vanity.

Any one of these daily atrocities should result in a full congressional investigation and a disbanding of the agency. The fact that it’s all just shrugged off by those with the power to stop it is a national disgrace.
ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.

Rob Schneider: you failed to award me an Oscar so get ready for Deuce Bigalow 3.

Chuck Lorre: OK fine time for Three and a Half Men.

Prior to Trump, I always thought someone could do a cutting satire of US politics with a show about a president who loses his mind while in office, and the lengths to which his party will go to justify and defend his increasingly insane pronouncements.

We’re living in that show.
Christ. We all suspected this. But the narcissistic cockalorum actually put his “if you don’t give me the Peace Prize I’ll start waging wars” threat in writing.

The petulant pillock is literally ready to kill people because he didn’t get his Special Prize.
