I reviewed the Razer Kiyo V2 X webcam! Razer removed the built-in ring light from the original model, so this is just an expensive 1440p camera that only really works with Windows.
Razer's 1440p Kiyo webcam is missing the feature I wanted the most
Better than the webcam in your drawer, but not $100 better.

My browser extension for showing link previews, Peek, is now 10 years old! 🎂

To celebrate, Peek v6.1 is rolling out now with a design refresh, support for Apple Music and Apple Podcasts links, plus other improvements and bug fixes.

I once knew a Federal bank examiner, and one time someone asked him why we had to KEEP inspecting banks over and over. He basically said every new batch of business school grads invents bank fraud from first principles.
AirBnB CEO calling it “vibe revenue” just 👨‍🍳 😘

The underlying cause of every bubble - debt masquerading as financial innovation - depends on not just short financial memory & speculative neophytism, but reinventing jargon of finance, like how each generation of kids has new ways to say same things.

I think the President of the US responding to a question about the murder of a journalist with "A lot of people didn't like that gentleman" is probably pretty bad.

I get why it happens but goddamn do I wish anything could hit as hard on the timeline as something that sucks that everyone hates written by or about the worst person you know. I wish something good or interesting was able to get anywhere near the traction some shit that sucks does.

Google wants Android to be the next big PC operating system, but I think it's just going to be ChromeOS again. #android #linux
Is Android really the next big desktop operating system?
Google says Android-powered laptops are coming in 2026. Will they actually matter, though?

"We believe standing still while technology moves forward doesn’t benefit the web or humanity. That’s why we see it as our responsibility to shape how AI integrates into the web."

The current evidence points to generative AI largely *destroying* the web. Whose side are you on, Mozilla?

these epstein emails are pretty damning. i sure hope that we haven't spent the last couple years in a cultural backslide where men are seemingly allowed to openly and gleefully fantasize about dominating young women without any threat of reproach
