If your webcam is bad and you think you need a new one, buy a light instead. I have a Logitech C920 that's like a decade old with a separate mic and Logitech Litra Glow light, and it works well.

The portrait mode in macOS is also great, NVIDIA Broadcast and Copilot+ PCs have a similar feature.

My browser extension for showing link previews, Peek, is now 10 years old! 🎂

To celebrate, Peek v6.1 is rolling out now with a design refresh, support for Apple Music and Apple Podcasts links, plus other improvements and bug fixes.

The r/SEO reddit. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Finished my replay of BioShock Infinite! Still a gorgeous game that is a lot of fun, the current PS4/PS5 version is solid.

The story is a lot more scattered than I remember, though. It throws a lot of politics and themes at the wall and none of them really stick.

Tried to dye my hair and it mostly worked! Not really the brighter emerald color I was aiming to get, but a lot better than previous attempts.

The new home page for Link Cleaner is live! I reworked the main URL text field to support multiple lines, so more of the link is visible on smaller screens. There's also a lot more padding in the initial interface, more like the Google home page.

My website now has a list of every review I've ever done! I might be missing a few things, but I'm pretty happy with the results from scraping Google and some data cleanup.

Finished some branding updates for @techtalesshow.com and @spacebar.news yesterday, and this feels like a good thing to highlight these days.

Framework's support of DHH isn't like, several steps removed or anything. Their Twitter/X account is retweeting DHH's posts.

Last month he wrote about how London was falling apart because it's "no longer full of native Brits." Standard great replacement stuff.

This is my first time using VR Steam Link since upgrading my network, and I'm impressed! It even passes through hand tracking.

I'm using Wi-Fi on both my PC (through a Wi-Fi 7 6GHz AP) and Quest 3 (5GHz Wi-Fi 6E), and I'm only noticing minor stutters compared to a cable connection. #vr #vrchat
