When people say that they only listen to vgm I think what they really mean is "I like the sound direction and influences this particular ost took and if I was presented with more of this I would probably like it". VGM is not a genre and Sonic CD did not invent house or new jack swing.

SNK has proven my belief (which has been proven over and over again) that video gamers should be more okay with things just ending. There doesn't need to be comebacks for the corporate names and logos you liked as a kid. Most of the people who made those things good don't even work there anymore.
