Trump's anti-press outburst hits differently with a Saudi prince by his side

President Trump frequently demonstrates his disdain for journalists. He expresses his admiration for authoritarians almost as often. Tuesday showed how intertwined those two instincts really are.

Donald Trump could have just kept his mouth shut about Jamal Khashoggi.

But to smear a dead journalist, while sitting with the person accused of orchestrating his murder is just vile.

Every time this administration hits rock bottom, a trap door seems to open.

Cretin behavior.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

Really cant understand how badly the Dems messaged this fold. The easy out was to say "we never expected Trump would illegally starve children and when SCOTUS stepped in to illegally help him we couldn't put kids at risk."

Either a) Schumer couldn’t hold his caucus together or b) he orchestrated this and wants plausible deniability.

Neither scenario is good for him or the Democrats.

They just gave away the most important piece of Democratic legislation of the 21st Century.

40 men Trump sent to CECOT tell the NYT they were beaten, tortured, and sexually assaulted. The details are worse than you can imagine.

We can’t let them get away with this. Miller and the other architects of this sadism need to go to prison.

You know… I was never a huge Epstein conspiracy guy.

But there really isn’t a better explanation for why Johnson won’t convene the House.
Speaker Johnson is officially keeping the House in recess again next week. This will be the eighth consecutive week the House has been out of session. The chamber hasn't met since Sept. 19. Adelita Grijalva, who was elected on Sept. 23, has not been sworn in.

Not for nothing, but SCOTUS is broken.

They let Trump suspend SNAP payments.

The utter willingness to engage in evil by every person who enables this government is mind-boggling.

Society expects schools to fill in the gaps where our social safety net is failing families.

Food. Clothing. Health, Vision, and Dental Care. Mental health. Transportation. Trauma recovery.

The holes in the safety net keep getting bigger, and our resources are dwindling.

I have lost the ability to tell the difference between when it’s Trump or when it’s AI.
Trump says we are preparing to invade Nigeria. Apparently that’s what voters said they wanted in the exit polls. Trump: “We’re going to do things to Nigeria that Nigeria’s not gonna be happy about. Guns-a-blazin!”
