What makes the discourse around this frustrating is that there are hundreds of government interventions and billions of dollars spent to try to bring urban amenities to low density rural areas and then people pretend that the situation is the opposite and rural residents are instead getting screwed
A lot of “why isn’t there X in rural areas?” is just population density or poverty
