GMing a TTRPG is something I enjoy the same way I enjoy hosting dinner; it's work I enjoy doing, gives me a lot of control and lets me to show off a skill I am proud of.
But that's my choice, traditionally D&D etc have framed DMing as an obligation when it would benefit from a pot luck mentality.

The "traditional" structure of TTRPGs puts an enormous amount of pressure on the GM to learn/refine & very little on the players.
Which is somehow seen as more reasonable than spreading the load of learning/contribution across the whole table.

En j-a katastrof detta. Det står ju inte heller ensamt utan är bara en i raden av dåliga beslut.
Regeringen vill "säkerställa ersättning" till markägare, men tillför väldigt lite pengar för ändamålet och först efter nästa val. Samtidigt vill man försvaga artskyddet kraftigt.

They're enabling creepy lonely men to create submissive "AI companions" that can be modeled on whatever real-life woman they're obsessed with and made to do whatever they want and, Jesus Christ, I need to wash my hands just typing that.

We need to have a serious talk about the way "AI companion" apps not only prey on the vulnerable, but are priming their users to ignore consent and to conflate love with control.
We need AI regulations across so many sectors, but this area is particularly horrifying.
