We all do the best we can, always. This doesn't mean that it's good enough, or even agreeable.

It's just what we can do, in that moment...

It all works out in the end.
Pinned
Acceptance is not agreeance...

The first is an acknowledgement of the situation; the second is an approval of it.

They are not the same.

The first is required for our healthy mental well-being; the second is often not.
Another year is ending...

Goals for living and loving in this world:

We all have today, to be a part of the world around us.

We can leave the part of ourselves that wants to be apart from, behind.

Every moment, each interaction, can be a win-win.

My part is the only part I have control of.

I’m shocked - shocked, I tell you - that refusing FBI criminal background checks likely resulted in… criminals in the administration.

To be fair, that was also the entire point - there were several Trump appointees who wouldn’t have passed an FBI background check.

I’ve seen thousands of posts about welfare fraud from right-wingers on social media, which should be prosecuted if people committed crimes, but zero posts about the dozens of wealthy rich fraudsters who stole billions from thousands of people who have been pardoned by Trump.

Why hasn't the stock market crashed? Foreign investors are selling U.S. debt and reinvesting in our equities (there's nowhere else to go). The market's become a store of value like gold—prices inflate while actual economic value stays flat or declines.

Let’s talk about something not many people are chatting about and what’s actually happening right now.

You might wonder why Imran Ahmed and the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) suddenly became targets of the U.S. government. The honest answer is that their research hit where it hurt.

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

The laws of Israel protect, but do not bind, the settlers - and they bind, but do not protect, the Palestinians.

It’s no different than the Jim Crow south, complete with regular lynchings.

Chief Justice John Roberts has led the Supreme Court for 20 years now.

In that time, his Republican-appointed majority has completely transformed America and its politics, with many of its most destructive opinions written by Roberts himself.

There is nothing in the Constitution that forbids a president from mass redacting FBI documents to hide evidence of his sex crimes. So the Democrat Party's outrage du jour is, as always, much ado about nothing.

ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.
