Legit shocked by these numbers....
The House has voted unanimously to repeal the provisions in the shutdown package which allow GOP Senators to sue the federal government and get as much as $1 million in damages - because the feds looked at their phone records in the Jan. 6 investigation.

One that I find interesting about the generic ballot discussion is the R number almost always lines up nearly perfectly with Trump's approval number.

The difference with Marist is they pushed undecideds and they almost universally went D. That's going to be the key.
November 19, 2025 at 5:32 PM
I won’t lie, this is one worry I do have. If he tries this close to the Midterms I could unfortunately see low information voters falling for it.
Anyways I stopped at waffle House for breakfast this morning and all the waitress were talking about a 2k check, and just lmao it's never going to happen.
November 19, 2025 at 5:01 PM
....Literally if this is where your head goes with the new Marist poll, seek professional help.

And please, keep your fucking negativity to yourself. If you decide to have this kind of attitude, do you I guess.

But keep that shit to yourself! Don't bring others into the pit of misery with you!
November 19, 2025 at 2:48 PM
So, like....when's the first impeachment vote? 😂

All jokes aside, I'll simply say this: this aligns VERRRYYY closely with Trump's approval numbers. Like, it's almost identical.

I highly doubt the generic ballot gets this high but even at double figures, MANNNYYY seats & states come on the board.

That seems really bad.

Is this bad?

Democrats yielded control of their time to Thomas Massie, not a thing you see very often. Massie just said Republicans refused to allow him time to speak on their side

I am going to be....VERY fascinated to see who falls on the sword to not let this get unanimous consent....
Breaking: Leader Schumer says he will immediately move — TODAY — to pass the Epstein resolution in the Senate by unanimous content after it passes in the House.

All jokes aside, this year has been a deeply embarrassing year for the vast majority of those in media & journalism.

Just a bunch of unserious people making a mockery of their profession during a very, very serious time when their work has been desperately needed & missing.
November 18, 2025 at 3:00 AM
And yet, the vast majority of the mainstream media continues to bow to him....
Here’s what voters are seeing while waiting in the grocery checkout.

So, here's the thing. I personally think Jaime Harrison was a TERRIBLE Chair of the DNC. Some of that was timing but I think a lot was also just focusing on the wrong things.

THIS however is a fantastic idea & a great use of his strengths & resources.

Kudos to you, Jaime!
Scoop: Jaime Harrison is launching what he calls a 7-figure battle plan to boost Dems in rural areas in 2026 races. His working theory is this cycle will be like 2006, when Dems won in red places. His targets, plus an early ad he has hitting Nancy Mace 👀

Legit considering pinning this one because it's that important. Even I forget this sometimes....
strategists/consultants don't often talk about role of external factors like structural trends, incumbency and economic conditions because they can't control them so can't sell their services off them, but these things determine the vast majority of elections and **analysts** should still pay attn

Nice catch here by my pal @purrtah.bsky.social. This one isn’t until March but Dems have a very real chance to flip a seat in Arkansas.

@taniel.bsky.social @trumpstaxes.com @uncrewed.bsky.social
HD70 is Harris+2, and Arkansas-Dems seriously looking to flip it

SD26 apparently has a very good Indy candidate running
In a petulant order that casts her as the victim of rogue judges issuing illegal orders, Gov. Sarah Sanders on Sunday complied with two valid court orders directing her to set special elections in two vacant legislatives seats for March 3.

The weirdest thing with all of this IMHO is how focused this admiration seems to be on drug trafficking.

It’s literally so, so low on issues voters currently care about.

Makes zero sense to me 🤷‍♂️
A potential prelude to military action against Venezuela—even though the FTO designation as such confers no authority to use force.

(And this supposed cartel may not even exist.)

A regime change campaign in the guise of counterterrorism.

There is a certain polling account that I try so hard to unmute but then they post another 10 posts dooming and shitting on Dems.

It’s honestly so exhausting.

1000% agree with this. I hate voicing this AND this poster is spot on.

We don't need these fucking morons to vote with us. We just need them to be depressed and say 'fuck voting, I'm staying home'

Sign me up.

Lmao I still can’t get over how badly the vast majority of pollsters missed in NJ and VA.

Something to keep in mind with the other polls we’re currently seeing…
With all ballots now counted for the 2025 #Virginia general election, here are the final numbers for statewide offices:

Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger: 57.58% (D+15.36%)

Lieutenant Governor-elect Ghazala Hashmi: 55.65% (D+11.56%)

Attorney General-elect Jay Jones: 53.14% (D+6.68%)

This is probably going to be one of my more unpopular takes but I don’t think the standard for members of Congress should be if they’re willing to get roughed up by the cops or not

Not every politician is willing to do what John Lewis & others have done. And I don’t think that makes them bad people
Wish more members of Congress had this sort of courage.
I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

She's going to get a ton of shit for saying this but good on her!

The American voting public has made it clear they aren't ready to elect a female President. That isn't Michelle, or Kamala, or Hillary's fault.

It's 100% on the voters. And sometimes revealing truths about voters is uncomfortable.
Michelle Obama says “don’t even look at me about running” because the United States isn’t ready for a woman President:

“We ain’t ready. That’s why I’m like ‘don’t even look at me about running’ cause you all are lying. You ain’t ready for a woman. So don’t waste my time.”
