it used to take like 20 minutes to render one of my Tales of Asteria translated videos and those were like 4 minutes long or so.
My new computer just rendered an hour and a half long video from my family reunion in like 9 minutes :D

It's probably not well-known, but in some (not so rare) cases a SINGLE PAGE of manga can take 3-4 hours to letter.
Get 2-3 pages like this and your day is fucked. Meanwhile, you might only have 7 days to finish the volume.
The amount of work going into some books is absolutely mind-boggling.
