I think it's really cool that we have democratic leadership that is largely silent about this issue. A leadership that believes making a "tsk tsk" press release once every month counts as a form of political opposition while otherwise dropping the issue in its entirety.

no one who's ever been stressed about paying next month's rent has to ask these questions, as the answers are fairly obvious
also, “politics is bottom/top not left/right” might work as a slogan but is shit as analysis. who is the bottom? who is the top? who constitutes an “elite” and who belongs to “the people?” these are important questions that have to be answered.

if it weren't for those dastardly capitalists I'm sure Pol Pot would have been a normal cool guy
I actually think many people realize that it's global capitalism and imperialism that played a huge factor in the killing fields (including the obvious one currently) and that they will gladly bring them back to defend capital which is kinda why they're willing to struggle to move past this system.
