Seven *more* families?
And this is only the families who have the means to sue, and (critically) the families who FOUND OUT.

How many more vulnerable people has ChatGPT convinced? Will we ever know?

Fuck all this.

Seven more families are now suing OpenAI over ChatGPT's role in suicides, delusions | TechCrunch
In one case, 23-year-old Zane Shamblin had a conversation with ChatGPT that lasted more than four hours.

I love that Mamdani is what the right claimed Obama was: A Muslim socialist born in Africa. The right practically manifested Mamdani into existence.

There's no anomaly here. People, globally, volunteer their time to powerful public goods the moment they're not actively terrified that they'll lose their home, their food, and their freedom. Which means that capitalism requires us all to live in fear, always - because it can't compete with free.
“Wikipedia is this economic anomaly. In many ways, it’s sort of magical that people will just volunteer without explicit economic incentives to create artifacts that are meant to share knowledge with everyone in the world”

Everyone on this planet works hard as hell and most people die penniless. Humans are awesome and productive and love sharing knowledge. Capitalism impedes our true abilities

Aren't the Police the protective force that maintains the status quo for the wealthy elite? Don't you think we ought to attack the roots of social problems instead of jamming people into overcrowded prisons?
