I'm a very smart Netflix executive, and this is totally a movie that I want to hide from the public.

We hate money, and it would be bad if people paid us money to see this movie.

Also wild to think about how many movies they could produce over the next 20 years for 108 billion dollars.

Like they totally could make more movies! Nothing is stopping them if they have that kind of capital.

30+ movies a year. Wow. That's very impressive. This year Paramount released a grand total of 7, exactly one of which made the year's top 25 (while losing $), so there is zero reason to believe that the company has the means to more than quadruple its output. deadline.com/2025/12/para...

What if... and hear us out... you released those episodes as 6 episode seasons over 4 years!"

By "window" do they mean opening your big new movie in two theaters across the entire state of Colorado for a 2 week period where it is impossible to see?

What's to stop them from just labeling everything a neflix movie? Just amazing stuff.
Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos says the streamer has no "opposition" to releasing Warner Bros. movies in theaters, but hints that "windows will evolve to be much more consumer friendly."

UGH.
basically micron (who owns crucial, which they're abandoning completely next year) is moving from a mixed b2b/consumer strategy to an entirely b2b business for AI datacenters. which will be a big supply shock for consumer PC hardware. www.thestreet.com/technology/d...

What stage of capitalism is it when the state steals your IP to make racist propaganda and you have no way to stop it?

I mean, there's "out of touch" and then there's whatever the fuck this is:

"They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

If you make a car company that doesn't make that many cars, a robotaxi company that requires human drivers, a robot company that makes no actual robots... well you too can be a trillionair.

I love when Andy Ngo does one of his David Attenborough-style posts about Antifa and highlights some kid who took a bong rip and waddled into the protest dressed like a giant muppet.

My favorite flavor of his commentary by far.

ER doc here! This is a lie. Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants
Vance: "If you're an American citizen & you've been to the hospital in the last few years, you've probably noticed wait times are especially large & very often somebody who's there in the ER is an illegal alien. Why do those people get healthcare benefits at hospitals paid for by American citizens?"
