I'm not just a hater. I'll give credit where it's due, and wish they were giving me more opportunities to do so.
YES‼️ DEMOCRATS, KEEP THIS UP

House Republicans wanted to pass a funding bill using a fast-track process called suspension of the rules. That method skips normal procedures but requires a big bipartisan vote, usually two-thirds of the House, around 70 votes.

House Democrats told them no.

It is absolutely wild to me that we're not even allowed to have a basic standard of "prosecute treason."

THIS is why we're cooked. If that isn't the most basic of requirements, what else possibly is?

If you hear someone saying that they hope lawyers are ready to go to court to protect free and fair elections, I suggest you let them know that my law firm is already litigating more than 80 voting and election cases in 40 states.

Everytime someone tells you this district or that won't go for an actual leftist, remember that an open DemSoc won in the capital of capitalism, Mamdani went from a nobody to one of the most recognized politicians in the US in a matter of months. More importantly, he did it without the help 1/2

I hope Dems begin to see that moderate or progressive, AIPAC is not our friend.

They endorse January 6th insurrectionists. Yet if you so much as suggest the US uphold its own Leahy laws, no matter your record, they will work against you.

Exactly right. Miles just laid it out plainly and suddenly the story snapped into focus. When the facts line up this cleanly, the denial doesn’t matter. This is why independent reporting still scares the hell out of them.

Someone please ask Grok if any AI has ever run numbers for Musk on a timeline of societal collapse due to climate change vs the time it would take for a fascist coup to fail.

My dark conspiracy theory is that the rich are playing a numbers game, and are betting on our deaths to save the planet.
It's also why this push for AI is happening so quickly and without reguards for profitability or desire. This isn't about making money, it's about creating a system to replace us when we're gone. And the costs to the environment are temporary- it scales down when we are gone.

The rest of the world: We are never going to trust your country again.

Honestly? The "doomers" are trying to shake you awake before it's too late.

Empires DO fall. We're not exceptional, or immune. Bad shit can happen, even if it's the first time in your life you've ever personally experienced it.

Nothing kills my hope more than people telling us "it will be ok."

Honestly posting this and then locking it comes off as bad as maga mom on SNL.

...at least bluemaga is coming around? Inch by inch, years late?
When the Post announced it was not going to endorse a candidate prior to the election, I argued with you all not to cancel your subscriptions in protest... I said the institution was vital, the news side would continue to do great work, and was worthy of your support.

What is the deal with us taking out our anger and frustrations on people similarly affected by these current situations who also have just as much power and control as us over them and the outcomes?

How long are we going to collectively continue to be this conveniently stupid?

As corporate media latches onto the narrative of 700 agents leaving Minnesota, please remember: that leaves 2,300 of them still here terrorizing our neighbors, with hotels booked through June. Appreciate victories along the way, for sure, but please don't lose focus. This is far from over.

Asking voters for patience is fine when we’re talking about political differences, it’s dereliction of duty when one side’s masked goons are shooting citizens on the streets.

Another worthy block I earned 😂 I had the nerve to point out that, when we said to bring the natl guard, handing out coffee wasn't what we had in mind.

Ladies and gents, I present moderate dems, who somehow feel justified in calling Republican voters stupid. Education cuts affected both parties.
Cool, so... they're stopping ICE vehicles returning to ICE facilities to make sure everyone in custody was lawfully detained? ...They're defending protestors when unlawful force is used?

Oh... they're... handing out coffee? ...that's.. that's considered protecting citizens, now?
