Hi! I’m CactusPuppy, and over the past five years, I’ve helmed some super cool projects in the Overwatch Workshop, including working with Emongg, KarQ, some Overwatch League teams, and even Blizzard!

Seeing some chatter about Freja, Kiriko, and Lucio having a faster base speed in the latest #Overwatch patch. As far as my testing in both 5v5 and 6v6 customs shows, this is not the case. Freja, Lucio, and Kiriko still have a base 5.5 m/s move speed.

For a scrapped video essay script I was writing, an editor friend of mine sat in an hour-long voice call with me while we frantically restructured the entire outline. Bless his soul for listening to my insane and self-indulgent ideas for that long and telling me no every time.

An actual hot take: Too many authors are afraid of editors watering down their voice or whatever and not afraid enough of editors letting you put any old slop on the page.
