Welp... I'm now officially unemployed. Thanks, IOP therapy program for not signing FMLA paperwork so I could go back to the office timely. Going to get on unemployment, as well as go after them for potential noncompliant billing.

The apartment building my Grandparents were living in burned down when my mother was a baby. The Salvation Army assisted the other tenants with emergency housing. They wouldn't help my Mom's family because they were Jewish.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

Many years ago a friend of my parents was working for them in some sort of admin assistant role until they tried to claim a book she had written while not at work was covered by her contract as a work for hire and she needed to give them royalties. Minor in contrast to the rest, but still a wow!
